COMMUNITY HELP CENTER, INC.
Haven Of Love Community Help Center Inc was founded by Emma Owens in 2014. Her initial focus was to teach at risk youth specific life skills through counseling, mentoring programs, and referral services in order to build self-esteem and help youth heal from childhood traumas. Her vision expanded to developing various community service events and establishing the first Haven of Love CHC transitional home for sober living in 2015.
Ms Owens has a BA in Biblical Studies, MA in Biblical Counseling, a ministry license, and various ministry certifications.
She has several years experience as a legal guardian to 4 children who were wards in the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. This experience help to birth her passion to become an advocate for children rights and her compassion to help the disadvantaged. Her experiences as a volunteer worker at food pantries, shelters, and group homes contribute to her dedication to community service.

MISSION
Haven of Love Community Help Center, Inc. is a youth-serving, community-based, non-profit organization. We are dedicated to helping individuals utilize existing skills while experiencing growth and development. Our objective is to provide counseling, transition living, and community support.
Our organization is also structured to support educational and training needs. We are driven to help troubled and homeless youth at risk of becoming victims of crime or those on a path to becoming a perpetrator of one. Our programs are designed to address issues of crime and substance abuse in low income communities. We strive to bring individuals out of troubled living situations and into a safe pleasant home environment. The goal of Haven of Love Community Help Center is to help guide disadvantaged individuals into becoming productive and well adjusted adults in society. These efforts will thereby positively impact the communities where crime is prevalent.
